Being unique, to me, means understanding that God made you perfectly in His image—you don’t have to change who you are to fit anyone else’s expectations.
It means knowing that your Creator—the Creator of the entire universe—took intentional time to handcraft you on purpose and for this moment in history. He placed incredible gifts and talents inside of you, not by accident, but so you could reflect His kingdom and spread His love to the people around you.
And He didn’t stop there. He also equipped you for the hardships you will face. Nothing about your design is random. You were formed with strength, capacity, and grace for exactly the life set before you.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb… all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
Psalm 139:13–16
“So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Genesis 1:27
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:10
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
1 Peter 4:10
