Identity in Christ
The 12 Core Words Series

A Scripture-based encouragement project exploring who God says we are before performance.

Simplified. Intentional. Fully for His Glory.

For a while now, I’ve been praying about how to simplify the bracelet packages — not to make them smaller, but to make them clearer.

Not just creative.
But intentional.

Not just meaningful.
But rooted.

My brain naturally loves ideas and variety. I could send dozens of different words. But over time, I felt the Lord gently drawing me toward something more focused.

More aligned.
More anchored.
More centered on who He is and who He says we are.

So instead of sending a wide variety of words, every package now includes 12 Core Words — chosen prayerfully, grounded in Scripture, and designed to tell one unified story.

A story about identity.
About belonging.
About who we are before we achieve, prove, or perform.

I’m still learning these words myself.

What began as a bracelet project slowly became something deeper — a study of identity.

What This Series Is

This isn’t a checklist.
It isn’t a spiritual productivity plan.

It’s a return.

Twelve words that anchor identity before striving.

Each word is rooted in Scripture.
Each word builds on the one before it.

And together, they tell one story.

The 12 Core Words

Identity (Foundation):

Loved
Chosen
Known

Response (How we Live):

Faith
Trust
Available

Formation (Growth)

Abide
Steadfast (Disciplined)
Wholehearted (all in, Best, Purpose)

Forward Vision

Hope
Light
Possible (able, victory)

These are not random encouragement words.

Together, they reflect:

Who God is.
Who we are because of Him.
And how we are called to live.

Why These Words?

The foundation of everything begins with identity.

You are Loved.
Before striving. Before doing. Before proving.

You are Chosen.
Not overlooked. Not accidental. Appointed.

You are fully Known.
And still deeply loved.

From identity flows response:

We live by Faith.
We walk in the Light.
We learn to Abide in Him, not just visit Him.

When life gets hard, we remain Steadfast, and disciplined in our faith.
We pursue Him Wholeheartedly, and in turn work wholeheartedly for His kingdom. We take kingdom mentality and work ethic into all we are apart of and do. Giving our best in everything for the glory of God.
We believe that through Him, what seems impossible becomes Possible. Because God is Able, and Victory is his and his alone.

And in every season:

We hold onto Hope.
We choose Trust.
And we stay Available for whatever God wants to do through us.

This isn’t just encouragement.

It’s formation.

Invitation

I’m not writing this as someone who has mastered these words.

I’m writing as someone who keeps coming back to them.

If you’re looking for something steady —
Start with Loved.

And we’ll walk through the rest together.

A Bigger Mission Than Bracelets

On their own, these bracelets are simple.

Fabric. Ink. A single word.

But God has always used simple things to carry eternal weight.

The bracelets are not the goal.

The Gospel is.

If even one person pauses because of the word Loved, or remembers to Trust, or chooses to remain Steadfast, or decides to be more Available to God — then the mission is working.

What Comes Next

Each of these 12 Core Words will have its own space — its own page, its own Scripture foundation, its own explanation.

Because each word deserves depth.
And this project deserves intention.

My hope is to also create a simple, printable graphic for each word — something that can be tucked into a Bible, placed on a mirror, kept in a backpack, or handed directly to someone who needs it.

Not just a bracelet.

But something they can hold onto.

Each graphic will include a QR code that links back to the full explanation of that word — so if the person receiving it wants to go deeper, they can.

This allows us to partner together.

You may be the one handing it out.
But God may use that QR code to continue the conversation long after the moment has passed.

If someone is curious…
If someone is searching…
If someone needs truth in a hard season…

They’ll have a place to land.

This is about more than bracelets.

It’s about creating pathways for truth.
For Scripture.
For Jesus.

And doing it together.
